This book has a good pace and characters in an original environment. Very worth reading and hard to put down for things like work or sleep.
A coming of age story about a powerful protector of the people. Lots of flashbacks to deepen the story line. Overall a good escape into a realm of destruction complete with power hungry dragons.
This is one of the best books I have read and I read at least 3-4 books a week. The story is gripping from page one.
The magic system is very different and very well explained and the character and world building are first rate. I am eagerly waiting for book 2 in this excellent story.
A promising start to a series I would hope , an easy read with a simple story line to follow
I just wish that the series was complete. I hate being left waiting for the next installment.
